Take this AI readiness quiz to see how prepared your business is to use AI safely and get real value from it. Answer 12 questions about your goals, data, people, policy and security, and you'll get a score with the gaps to close first. It takes about three minutes. 1.Has leadership agreed what you want AI to achieve, linked to specific business goals?
2.Have you identified at least one specific task or process where AI could save time or improve quality?
3.Is the information AI would need, such as documents, product details and records, accurate, organized and available in digital form?
4.Are the processes you want to improve written down, so you know the steps, who does them and how long they take?
5.Do you have a written AI usage policy that tells staff what they may and may not do with AI tools?
6.Have the staff who use AI been trained to write clear prompts, check the output and spot errors?
7.Have you decided which AI tools are approved for work, with business accounts and the right settings?
8.Have you checked how any AI use involving customer or staff data fits Jamaica's Data Protection Act, including where the provider stores that data?
9.Are AI tool accounts protected with multi-factor sign-in, and are AI add-ins and browser extensions controlled?
10.Is there a named owner for AI adoption, with a budget for subscriptions, training and support?
11.Will you measure whether AI is working, for example by tracking time saved, error rates or customer response times?
12.Have you explained to staff how AI will change their work, and given them a way to raise concerns and ideas?
